Business Support Network : Build and Inspire a Dynamic Workforce

Red Deer Local Immigration Partnership , Central Alberta Economic Partnership and Business Support Network invites you to join us on Fri Mar 22 2024 at Setters Place from 9am-1pm as we discuss the future of our workforce. This event will bring together industry leaders, educators, and policymakers to explore innovative solutions for shaping a more dynamic, diverse and inclusive workforce. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to be a part of the conversation and drive positive change in the workplace.

We will introduce you to Workplace Inclusion Charter document, which is primarily focused on small to mid-size employers in Red Deer and Central Alberta, who often do not have administrative and financial capacity and/or leadership expertise to introduce inclusion policies and practices. It does not aim specific industries, as the need for more skilled employees is common across all sectors.

There are various statistical projections about the aging population resulting in lower labour force participation and therefore shortage of labour over the next ten years in western countries. This is creating a competitive environment for general attraction of skilled workers.

If the need of being attractive and ready for a diverse workforce is not recognized and acted upon now, small to mid-size employers in this region may become at risk of a significant competitive disadvantage in the coming years. At the same time, it creates opportunity for innovative workplace inclusion development for businesses and the entire region. The Red Deer Local Immigration Partnership Workplace Inclusion Charter provides hands-on tools for these employers to develop their workplace without prohibitive costs.  Join us and learn more!

There is no cost for this event; however, tickets are limited.  Reserve your free spot now through EventBrite by clicking here.
